Compare wheel strategy trackers

How OptionsLoop compares with a spreadsheet and with three wheel trackers that publish their own product pages. The notes below are descriptions, not a ranking.

Competitor prices and features are taken from each product's public website, as of October 2026. Anything that was not on those pages is left out. OptionsLoop's price, Google sign-in, and feature list are from the OptionsLoop app and its privacy policy.

OptionsLoop, in short

OptionsLoop is a wheel tracker for cash-secured puts, covered calls, assignment, and called-away shares. Those legs are linked into one wheel with cost basis and P&L. Sign-in is with Google, and signing in syncs trades across the website and the iOS and Android apps.

The comparisons

OptionsLoop vs a spreadsheet

Excel and Google Sheets are blank grids. You design the columns that connect a put, an assignment, and the covered calls that follow. OptionsLoop does that linking in the app and still exports CSV and JSON, so a sheet can stay in the workflow.

OptionsLoop vs WheelTracking

WheelTracking's homepage describes a free journal for cash-secured puts, stock assignments, and covered calls, including multiple trading accounts, performance charts, and CSV or JSON download. Its privacy policy, effective September 20, 2026, discusses anonymized trade data.

OptionsLoop vs WheelTracker

WheelTracker at yourwheeltracker.com describes a free, local-first tracker: no account, no cloud, and no key, with live option chains, broker import, and price alerts. This is not the separate iOS app that also uses the name WheelTracker.

OptionsLoop vs Option Wheel Tracker

Option Wheel Tracker's homepage and terms describe a one-time $98 lifetime license for wheel and cycle tracking, CSV import, and capital-at-risk analytics, with a 14-day refund. The terms define lifetime as the operational life of the service.
