Delete your OptionsLoop account

You can delete the account in the app, or ask us to delete it by email. This is the public deletion page for optionsloop.app, including the Android app.

Deleting the account removes the Google sign-in and the trade data stored for it (positions, history, wheel links, and sources). It does not cancel a Premium subscription. Cancel that in Google Play, the App Store, or, for a subscription bought on the website, with Manage Subscription, before or after you delete the account.

In the app

This is the same screen on the website, the iOS app, and the Android app.

  1. Open OptionsLoop and sign in with the Google account you want to delete.
  2. Open Account, then Delete Account.
  3. If you want a copy first, use Account → Import & Export and choose Export to JSON or Export trades to CSV.
  4. Type DELETE and confirm. If you signed in a while ago, Google may ask you to sign in again before the deletion goes through.

Clear all trades (Account → Import & Export) removes trades and leaves the sign-in in place. Delete Account removes the sign-in as well.

By email

If you cannot open the app, email optionsloopapp@gmail.com from the Google address on the account. Use the subject "Delete my OptionsLoop account" and say that you want the account and its trade data deleted.

We delete the Firebase Authentication user and the trade data stored in Firestore for that account within a reasonable time, except where we have to keep something to comply with law or resolve a dispute. We may reply to confirm we are deleting the right account. A request from a different email address needs enough detail for us to match it to the account, and we may ask you to write again from the Google address on the account.

What we do not delete from a store or card network

Questions about this, or a request for a copy of your data, go to the same address. See the Privacy Policy for what the account stores and who receives it.
